Re: 1954, 5 Cent (NSF) Certified, Ultra Rare
Hi everybody. I can now take a big breath and so can, all of you! This very fine, Canadian 1954 (NSF) 5 cent piece, is no longer in my possession and no longer hold it. Finding and having one Certified was Historical in itself, now it is essentially about to make History further. News to some, but ...

Re: 1 Cent 1859
Wow! Sunopera. It certainly sounds like you have an extensive knowledge of metallurgy, would that be a fair assessment? However in my most humble opinion, I would say from what Bill in Burl said in his assessment, he’s the man . Bill you get a Wow! too. I'm humbled by your knowledge kind Sir and wi...

Re: 1967 Silver Dollar(s)
100 of them! Wow , first of all that would expensive to have all of them certified. Check out CCCS in Quebec. He is the closes and has a reputation and ICCS and Ontario. See what you find out on the www. These are the only two in Canada. There are a couple of varieties that might have more value. 1...

Would these not be considered die chips that have bounced around during minting?

Re: Please help grade these coins! :)
I would not call myself a pro but have some knowledge and willing to help if I can. The 1942 nickel is in the best condition maybe Fine (F) to very fine (VF)? . The other ones are about Good (G) to Very Good (VG) or (F), the one encased in the glass unfortunately can’t have a grade in its state, wit...

Re: 1 Cent 1859
Sunopera I was a little confused by your other post but, I think I realise you mis-understood me, it was the (Obverse) of the coin I was asking about, a picture of the Queens bust side of the coin. A closer magnification of the 5 and 9 side (Reverse) also would be nice to see the multiple stamping, ...

Re: 1 Cent 1859
That’s real good advice momomomo. Getting it certified is what you want to do if you want to get a good price. There are two grading companies in Canada, CCCS is another that you can chose from, then there is less question about grade, authentacy and value. (I know from experience)
