Re: 1969 Norwich district historical society museum
Thanks TDH, your assessment of nickel silver makes perfect sense to me now, the canadian goverment collections site lead me willingly down the garden path. Hopefully I'm a little wiser now.

Re: 1969 Norwich district historical society museum
Nickel is a ferromagnetic material and magnetic. So, German silver (called also: nickel silver, argentan) is magnetic. The Norwich token is non magnetic. So far all sources refer to this token as silver and the weight and specifications are identical to sterling coins of the same specifications and ...

1969 Norwich district historical society museum
Hi, can anyone shed some light on this coin, it has approximately the same specifications in weight and size of the 1992 - 2002, 2005 - 2008 sterling silver dollars and the only info I can find is on the Canadian government collections site that says this is a silver token. The token is 36mm across ...

Hi, Can you email me at klwatson@telus.net? Thanks.
1991 roll
Hi, hope all is well with all. Looking for some thoughts on what to do with my roll of 91 quarters. Should I break the roll open, inspect for errors and place in 2x2's and sell? Should I send one to a TPG and certify to ascertain grade then sell or leave the roll intact and sell? I've never sold a c...
Re: 1924
Hi Bill, it looks like the line is raised. Thank you for helping me out, hope your staying warm in the Ontario deep freeze.
1924
!924 with die damage?, scratch?, starts before the A in GRA to the end of the E in REX. Some doubling of the R and E in REX, an accumulation on the E in DEI? Anyone find these types of errors on this year? And I'd appreciate any insight as to what these errors are as well as a ball park as to grade....

Hi and Merry Christmas! I have what appears to be a 1953 NSF small date 25 cent piece from a mint set, I have tried to upload pics but the site says the file size is to large even at 31m. If someone with some expertise in this denomination is interested in helping me out by identifying what this coi...

Re: Substantial Coin and Bank Note Collection For Sale
Hi Keith. Apologize for delay in getting back to you. Unfortunately I do not have much in the way of early nickels as I was never really interested in this category/denomination except for the fish scales (pre 1922). However I do have a few circulated examples sitting in a can and one roll of 1926s...
