Yes well the curve is in the top part of the 5, I'll take some pics with a microscope and post them here, but I do believe it to be a variety. It also has other things like thicker lettering , not sure why. But I have other 25's and they dont have this and Ive seen dozens and dozens online and none ...

I have ten 1925 Canadian nickels. One of them has a "5" that has a curved shape on the top part of it that none of the others have, and unlike any 1925's I've seen online.
