Re: 1962 Double 962

Looks to me like it may be a small Lamination. A die crack would be raised.

Re: 1967 Canadian Dollar. Two angles?

If you are going to join the CCF, one of their requirements for posting pictures is that they are to be cropped and facing the right way, so you better learn how to post pictures the right way. Those who don't are usually told to do so in the future. Other than that it is a great site.

Re: New 1945 error?

Looks like a small Die Chip. Not really considered an error.
Too small to add any significant value to the coin.

Re: 1911 large cent

Welcome to the Forum.
As mentioned, pictures are a must in determining the status of a coin. It could be several things from damage to a legitimate error. Let's see what you have and someone will be able to help you.

Nice almost complete collection of Wheaties. The only one I see missing is 1909S VDB and that is understandable

Re: Very interesting 1963 dime errors

I can't tell for sure if the marks under the 9 and 6 are raised or incuse. If they are raised, they would be die chips,
if they are incuse, they would be damage. The front of the 6 and the C have both taken hits causing the damage.
There is nothing that would be considered an error.

Re: Wire Strike-Through's/ Two on one Dime/Newby

I would just leave it in the cello pack. You could probably get more selling it as an error in a PL set. There are are people who do collect these. If you break it out, you would not get as much for it as a small struck through is considered a minor error and doesn't really add that much to the value.

Re: 25c MS-68

Nice looking Quarter but not an MS68. Hard to tell higher grade photos from a picture but I would say it is closer to MS65. Also FYI, there are no 1964 quarters graded higher than MS66 that I can find.

Yes it is a small die crack.
In the future, please rotate your pictures properly so we don't have to kink our necks or rotate our monitors.

Re: US 1936 buffalo nickel

Do you have any proof or a photo or is it just what someone heard. Until there is definite proof of one, I would just have to consider it as heresay. I don't possibly see how a 5 legged nickel could be struck without it being discovered by know.

Re: US 1936 buffalo nickel

I will have to give the same answer as the other Forum you posted this question on. I have never heard of a 5 leg buffalo nickel. I have seen a 3 leg, 3 1/2 leg and of course the common 4 leg. Where did you hear that there was a 5 leg? Sounds like something you would see listed on Etsey to try and c...

Re: 1983 pennies - unopened rolls

The only variety that I know of in 1983 is the Near and Far Beads with the Far Beads worth about double that of the Near Beads. Also there is the chance you may find an error coin but the odds are slim. Look for any high MS coins but they would probably have to be certified to sell. The only way to ...

Re: 1954 Star note

There were only about 200,000 of that series printed so it is a keeper.
The fact that it is off centre and has that crease greatly affects the value.
