Re: selling 1937 banknotes

wenreys-
That is the same listing you posted previously.
No need to post it twice. I'm sure if anybody was
interested, they already saw it.

Re: Clean

If your talking about the red fluff from the holder, it has probably permanently damaged the coins. You can soak them in distilled water for a while until the fluff starts to separate from the coin and then clean with a Q-tip to remove the loose fluff. But as I said, your coins will probably still h...

Re: Suspected Fakes on ebay

Not unusual for counterfeits to be sold on eBay.
Can you post the item ID (The 12 digit number at the top)
so we can take a look at it. There are 4 or 5 different
variations of the JOP signature.

Re: Looking for advice for 1989 25 cent coin

It's called "Environmental Toning" which can cover a broad range of things,
but one thing for sure is that it is not an error as it didn't happen at the mint.

Probably so that anyone who collects varieties would know which it was.
It is listed in Charltons.

Re: Need help

The "S" they are referring to is the one in CENTS.
There are two varieties:
Near S, where the S is near to the rim.
Far S, Where the S is farther from the rim.
Value is about the same for both.

Re: 1885 Error Question

That wouldn't be an error. It is only an error if something happens during the time the coin is being struck. Looks to me like something has been added (solder?) to the reverse. Perhaps someone was going to make it into a piece of jewelry. To verify this, just weigh it. It should weigh 2.33 grams, a...

Re: Canada $1 Coins

Not quite sure how many a mess is but the ones with the most value would be certain King George ones. The Queen Elizabeth Silver coins don't sell for much above bullion unless they are exceptional and as Bill stated, the nickel ones don't sell for much above face value unless they are one of the rar...

Re: pic of messed up 1945 V nickel

Hafta agree with Bill on this one.
There are no errors on that coin, only Post Mint Damage which means the
damage was done after the striking of the coin.
It is only an error if it happens in the striking chamber before the coin is ejected.
Still a wartime nickel that can be kept.

Re: 1910 Canada 5 Cent round leaves cross over bow tie

It has to be either a 1910 Round Leaf Bow or a 1910 Pointed Leaf C/B. There is no such thing as a 1910 Round Leaf C/B. It is probably misattributed by the grading Co. Who was the grader and could you supply a photo of the complete reverse. It wouldn't be the first time a grader has marked the wrong ...

Re: 1965 Large bead proof

Both Large and Small Bead varieties came in the Cello Packs.
Not considered a Proof, they are known as Proof-Like.
As Bill says, not worth sending out. The cost of getting it graded
far exceeds the value of the coin.

Re: 2016 Dime - Error or Not?

Looks like a partially grease filled die as opposed to a weak strike.
Not a Doubled Die on the "G".
Hard for me to tell about the die chips from picture.
If they are raised, then they are die chips.
If they are incuse, then it is damage.
