Re: Where are the posts?

Your right" Bill in Burl" I wish i had more input to this site but i dont trust myself to give anyone info on coin or currency colllecting. Listening to TV reports on the economy of the world i would think it might be difficult times for a lot of people to invest in coins, in fact i would not be sur...

Re: 1946 50 cent Design???

Thanks troubadour, that makes more sense. The photo on the price guide and value just showed the no design picture and it wasn’t making sense to me but that helps.

Re: 2005 Poppy???

Looks to me like the surface plating was damaged enough to allow moisture and possibly chemical to start the steel center of the coin to rust. Remember the P mark on the coin stands for plating :D

Re: 1946 50 cent Design???

maybe i should start a new thread for this but , there is a higher value placed on the 1946 Design but then you go to the 1950 and there is a higher value for the No Design , were damaged coins more common then standard ones for that year????

Just notice this coin in the Price guide on this web sight and was wondering if any one can explain this to me , The picture isn't real clear but to me it just looks like a Die crack , possibly combined with a Filled 6 . Is this correct???

Re: 1953 to 1964 Quarters

Just go to the Canadian coin section of this website ( bar at top of page) and you should be able to find value and minting numbers for all of those years. Good luck.

Re: 2006 breast cancer test piece coin

Interesting, I'm guessing that the center was designed to have a color applied. Can you tell us any more of the story behind it???

Re: Silver Dollars

Bill is probably right about the two coins, but rather then getting rid of the '65 as scrape silver try and find a young collector to give it or sell it to , its in very nice condition and would make a good starter coin for a new collector. I like the idea of getting the new generation started with ...

2010 25 cents missing color

I’ve been looking on eBay and see a Canadian 1945-2010 quarter that they claim is missing its color , has anyone ever heard of this error?? I’m sceptical that the color was just removed. Just wondering if anyone has info regarding this as a error ??? Seller has %100 positive feed back so would not w...
