I have a graded MS-65 and it barely shows what looks like small protrusions on the lower rim which I think should be jewels. I count 6 showing,I think. Can someone verify exactly how man...

Re: 1949 Canada silver dollar...why so cheap?
672,218 minted. Highest since '39 and not beaten until 1953, then finally for good in '58 and beyond. Cheers Hi: Not sure I follow.....this mintage number (672,218) is fairly low compared to some.(I get why a 1948 is worth so much, being that only 18,780 were minted),but the 1965 minted 10,768,569 (...

Re: Accumulations on 1935 Canadian silver dollar
I'm not sure if you use the same terminology in your country, but in the US, we call this machine doubling. A slight bounce during the strike flattens out part of the device. You can tell because of the flat, shelf-like appearance and also how the "doubling" cuts into the device rather th...

Accumulations on 1935 Canadian silver dollar
Hi: I have two 1935 Canadian George V silver dollars which have some accumulations on the reverse. Do these accumulations add any value to a coin in any way? Also, there were 428,700 plus minted, how many of these accumulation varieties would there be out there?(guesstimate?)Thanks,Huck50 http://www.c...

1957 ERII ribbon,knot,laurel leaves separated?
I just aquired this 1957 ERII dollar and after looking at with my loupe,it looks like the ribbon, knot and laurel leaves are separated, whereas my other ERII coins show they are all connected.Doesn't seem to be much wear at that particular spot which would suggest this separation. Is there another var...
