Re: Is this quarter worthy of collecting? Your opinion is welcome.

I would keep it as a unique piece to show to friends and collectors.

It might be worth something to a collector. The problem is just finding the right person. I just don't know what value to put on it.

Re: 1964 Dime

I think you have it right Richards. That Queens head started in 1990 Last year a friend and I thought we had a rare mule. We showed it to a few people. George Manz from Regina showed us it was a fake mule. Apparently someone had taken two coins, cut them in half and moulded them together. This could...

Re: $1 bill sequence numbering

Hi Showman, Thank you for posting the pictures. To give an accurate grade a knowledgeable person would actually have to have the note in their hands. Fortunately you took great pictures that make it easier to give a reasonable grading. I was able to blow it up for considerable clarity. Unfortunately...

Re: 1975 bills

Sorry to disappoint you but the values quoted are way off. Firstly if you took them to a dealer the dealer will only offer face value for either the $50 or $100 because of their condition. At either a flea market or coin show I would sell the $50 for $55 and the $100 for between $107 - $109 MAX. The...

Re: $1 bill sequence numbering

Is it in a soft sleeve or a hard case? If you can take a good clean picture of it (out of the holder) and post it we may be able to help on the possible grading. If it is as you say then it could be worth a good buck. It might be one of the few time it could be worth sending it or taking it to Kitch...

Look at the blank start line above the EHX and *HB & *HC lines

Those are for all other prefixes.

So did you listen to Shylo and me take the $2800 and go straight to the bank or did the person change their mind?

Or are you still holding on to them and dreaming of a big score?

Re: Canadian bank notes

I agree with Shylo. Why do you want to get them appraised? Do you think you will get more money for them. Not necessarily. If you can take some GOOD photos of them and post them on this site there are a few of us who will give you an idea of their grading. Graded bank notes do not necessarily sell f...

Re: FS Two 1954 Modified Portrait 1000 Notes Consec.

Hi Jack, Have you any better pictures then the ones you posted. Where did you ever come up with a price of $3500? Suggest you look at the trends and you will see that the Lawson Bouey are trending at $1300 each. That is the price a dealer may be asking. Selling privately very rarely will get the sam...
