When I am not doing yard work or house repairs I am still sorting through coins and making a catalog of all them. I give each coin a serial number and record them in a excel spread sheet. I was thinking that if a question is asked and if nobody has a answer, at least you who are dealers could respond that you do not know or where somebody might get a answer, but, just leaving a question un-answered does not leave a good impression of the forums.

I never thought that I was investing to cash in later to make money. I have just collected every thing I could lay my hands on. I hope people do not get too upset if I babel on about the money hobby, from my point of view (just a little off centre)

Dragged out my cream can and started to sort through the coins in it. Took $61 of 1 cent coins to the bank. Each roll was of a specific year. More to go through.

Is there a way to tell is a coin was clipped before being stamped or somebody just did as a joke?

Also have a blank 1 cent planchet. It has a rim but nothing else. Comments?
