Re: Looking for information- brick of 1973 $1 notes
There were over 1 Billion printed of that series alone.
There should be a radar which would have a premium, but the rest
even if they graded CUNC, would only be worth a couple of dollars each.
Consecutive numbers in modern notes don’t really have a premium.

Re: 1957 nickel - dye chip?
A DIE chip is not an error, it is part of the minting process.
They are quite common especially in since1947 when they started using chrome plating on the dies.
No numismatic value but hold onto it if you like as an example.

A test note is exactly what it says. The BOC was wanting to try out things such as better inks, different types of paper etc. to see if they could improve the quality of the notes. They were then issued to the public to check for durability. Some of these are rare but in your case there were 600,000...

What is it you are referring to as die damage?

Welcome to the Forum
As TBH stated, it is a common series with over 90 million printed so there is no value unless in CUNC condition.

I agree, worn and polished. Would probably grade as a details coin.
Don’t know how anyone with grading knowledge could say that is BU.
Of course selling it would depend on what you are asking for it.
