When you post a reply, under the text box is a place for attachments.
Here you can "add files" of your banknotes.

Re: Coin photography - Conflicted on how to do it properly

I am curious to see how you find that. It looks like it could be a bit unstable, but it would depend on what the mount is made of and how heavy that part is.
Good luck.

The rest of what has been posted here is such nonsense that it's not worth a rebuttal.
Well that certainly makes one wonder what exactly you think is nonsense?

Re: uncirculated sets from RCM

The RCM has never used the term PL for their business strikes. The sooner people start just saying there is no such thing as a PL Canadian coin, the faster people will start using BU or UNC. Fact is, any dealer or collector worth their salt will know that PL is not correct. Books are guides, but som...

Re: uncirculated sets from RCM

Regardless of what collectors or book writers indicate, for the RCM, there is no such thing as Proof-Like coins. The RCM indicates that they are only uncirculated and their uncirculated (or Brilliant Uncirculated, which is the term they do use) are no different than what is found in your pocket base...

Re: Proof coun prices

The 1994 War Memorial Proof loonie is apparently worth about $8-9 ...maybe up to about $11 depending on whether it is in a capsule.

Re: Proof coun prices

Although this seems like it should be easy to do, the mint has so many options for different coins and adding all the various types would be a big job, and since what is on here is free to review (and there is a lot on here), no one is really demanding more. The professionally developed guides/catal...

Re: Proof coun prices

You could also follow ebay for a bit - see what the average price these are being sold for is. The catalogue is useful if you plan on looking at other coins and want to know values, but if you are just looking for one, then what sellers are asking is a good guage. Also note that some sellers overpri...

Re: 2019 Clipped Planchet

The coin has a good deal of post mint damage and this does not look like a clipped planchet, but post mint dings.

Re: 1999 Polar Bear

what do you mean never circulated? When the coins are minted, some go into the mint sets, but almost all are sent out for circulation - some get picked up fast from banks, or dealers, but most do end up in circulation.

variety or not this coin is popular and worth premium. https://coinsandcanada.com/coins-auctions-prices.php?denomination=8&date=2012&details=1&Send=Search Whatever the cause of that extra sail, there have been few of them, and only ms reported at auction. In this case - the coin is pretty beat up a...

Pouting after purchase

I am pouting - no frowing - after purchasing two proof coins online from a well-known Canadian auction place. These were RCM type coins and listed that way, and I expected them to come in capusules. Not only were they not in capsules, they had been removed and put in 2x2 flips. They were not adverti...

this could be a badly steamed note too - one that is real, but that has run when it got wet and flattened.
The signatures also look thicker.
