Not an unusual serial number, If it is not listed, then it is a common series
so you should use the top line for value.

Not rare at all, there were over 71,000 sets with WP marks produced.
As noted, just look under the PL section

Re: Closest PCGS grading service to Calgary
There are only two recognized graders in Canada, ICCS in Toronto and CCCS in Quebec.
One of the local coin stores in Calgary may have a service where they will send it for you
but in any case it would still have to be mailed out.
This is a much cheaper alternative then sending it to the States.

Re: ANCS graded coins
They are what is known as a basement slabber and have nothing to do with ANACS, they are just using a play
on their name. Any grade that they give has no meaning. If you want it slabbed properly,, you would have to
send it to a recognized TPG but don’t expect it to be a MS66.

Re: 1957 canada silver dollar pl67 SWL??
It is not a SWL, you cannot have any line touching the canoe.
A one water line only shows one line, so it is just a regular dollar.
What does it say on the holder?

Possibly one die was worn more than the other.
The more a die gets worn, the thinner the letters become.

From those pictures the coin does not even look real.
Please take it out of the 2x2 and shoot again. It may just be reflection.

Re: Value of this 2005 25c? ms67 not listed
With shipping and insurance, NGC would charge about $50-60.00 and that’s if you had a membership.
Unless you are using it as a registry set, not worth getting graded.

Re: Value of this 2005 25c? ms67 not listed
Probably because they do not have a record of any being sold. Also why is a Ms 67 value missing?
There is one on eBay now in the exact same NGC holder with a asking price of $34.76 CDN.
You could probably use this as an approximate value.

The hard truth.
Looking at your fourth picture (well done), you can see a gap in the 9 where it has been sliced
pushing the metal down. Sorry but just PMD

Re: 1982 Voyageur "Patched Canoe"
Looking closer at this (as I said, I'm not into nickel dollars), perhaps when they say "missing chrome", they are referring to the striking dies which have a chrome plating. If a part of this fell off somehow, it would leave a small raised area on the coin. This would cause multiple coins to have th...
