1896 Large cent with a perfectly formed oval between the 9 and 6. Is this a common occurrence.

Does this 1928 10¢ have a die crack or is this an example of PMD? Could this be done intentionally? Damage is only on the reverse.

There is a die crack to the right of the unicorns leg.
