That would be awesome if that was a 1921 50 cent, a friend of mine just sold a 1921 50 cent in VG condition for $48,000.00.I have heard of acid dateing not sure if thats the way to go,I have seen it done on buffalo nickles.

You have some nice 50 cent coins here, its sad they have to go up for sale on ebay ( I allways lose money there, but sometimes we have to make a sarifice).
If you choose to keep them ,try to get 2 individual sets going.. 1 for Canadain 50 cents and 1 for the NFLD 50 cents

I have some quality old Canada 50 cent and 25 cent coins with holes at 12 oclock, is it good to fill them with silver
or appreciate the coin that hung around some guys wife or girl friend.

I just purchased a beautiful 1870 50 cent VF 20 , the only problem is that it has a hole at 12 oclock, so sad ,but I could not resist the detail on the rest of the coin.
Big question -do I fill the hole with silver or leave it?
