1862 New Brunswick 10 cent

Found this while out metal detecting just wondering what's up with the o in Victoria

On some coins, it's called an alignment mark used when making the initial dies. You have a great repunched (doubled) 1862 .. a pretty scarce coin.

Just curious why is the date all out of whack? is this normal with these types of coins..
