pcgs graded gold coin

I just bought a 1914 $10 PCGS graded MS64 gold Canadian coin. It arrived today but it was actually a pcgs MS64+ graded coin that was sent to me by the store I buy from. With the naked eye, I did not notice any issues. Under 2x magnification I noticed 2 tiny edges that is used to lock in this slab with another when stacking slabs is broken off on the top end of one side. It is barely noticeable...I am thinking that this is probably not much of an issue....especially since I paid for an MS64 and not the MS64+ I got. Anyone who is knowledgeable about this matter, please let me know what you think.

not really an issue imo and doesnt affect the value or beauty of the coin. you still can resend it to pcgs for re-slab (i think they call it reholder)

Thanks for your feedback. It is a beautiful coin and the holder issue is barely noticeable. I would have paid a couple of hundred more if I knew it was an MS64+.

May I ask what a fair price is for such a coin...I am looking at one, same year, it is PCGS graded MS63. It's on an auction site and I don't want to over pay. Thanks for any info.

The average selling price for a 1913 $10.00 MS63 on eBay is $1508.00 so around there should be fair.

They are actually SELLING for between $800 and $890US on Ebay right now. These are what they actually SOLD for, not asked. Here is one currently for a best offer MS63 coin. The seller previously sold at least one other for something LESS than his asking price .. he accepted a "best offer".

Here is the Ebay list of the 1913's that have actually SOLD recently, NOT what they have up for bid:
