Found this in my change and wondering more about this type of error.
Seems to have a few things going on with it.
Both sides are the same coin.

Welcome to the Forum

Pictures are pretty bright to see the detail but it looks like what is called a "Vise Job"
where 3 coins have been squeesed together leaving the impressions on the middle coin.
This is just a damaged coin with no numismatic value.

It looks like some one pounded another coin on top of it on the Obverse. Need better, clearer photos.

Pictures were taken with an I Phone and cropped.
Had a coin dealer look at it. He told me it was a minting error. But that’s all he could say about it.
Have a hard time believing it was put in a vise or another coin hammered to get this effect.
But at least it an answer to my puzzle.
Thanks D

I wouldn’t put too much stock in that coin dealer if he can’t tell the difference between damage and an error.
These have been posted more times than I can remember on various coin forums. They are easy to spot as the
lettering is in reverse and concuse. If it was a genuine error, the lettering would be positive and raised.

Makes sense on the reverse lettering and indentations.
