defining Specimen vs. Proof-like coins
defining Specimen vs. Proof-like coins
I cant tell the difference. Both types of coins are double struck on special plachets.
Re: defining Specimen vs. Proof-like coins
Depends on what year you are referring.
Specimen Finishes vary. Can you post a picture
or at least describe what coin you are referring to?
You don't really give a lot of information to go by.

Re: defining Specimen vs. Proof-like coins
I am interested in the general differences between PL and Specimen coins. I have quite a collection of Canadian coins but I am depending on the sellers description of 60s-80s coins; be it specimen or PL. Later the finish is different and distinguishable but the earlier coins appear to be the same PL/Specimen.
