I find it hard to believe that you, as moderator, recommend those books. There are many others that should be in a library long before those.

The other publishers and distributors (majors and independent) already know about Coinsandcanada.com. If they feel interested in selling their numismatic informative publications on Coinsandcanada, they have to communicate with me like Brookstone Publishing did.

Again, I find it well outside the responsibilities of the moderator to recommend or push a reference book that has all kinds of questions surrounding it. As I mentioned before, if the publisher (Brookstone) contacted you about what a great book that it was ... remember that Brookstone has ONE employee and that person is the author, MR Blais, and the Publisher's office is also Mr Blais's home. Take a look at some of the photos in the book and see that they are other people's property. Ask around to see how many experienced collectors and dealers have ever purchased his book .. you are in for a surprise.

Any proof of this? If yes, contact the owners of these pictures and tell them to contact the author about it. Each time someone talk about the author or his books (including elsewhere), you post something that sounds like a personal conflict - instead of ignoring it. Doing that publicly isn't the right thing to do. Personal conflict should be resolved in private. You know how to contact him.

I will comment no more on Mr Blais.
