Victoria Large Cent Census

Post by dan in crystal lake » Sat Mar 24, 2012 3:37 am

Calling all Victoria Large Cent collectors! I am conducting a census of the Victoria large cent varieties identified in the Charlton Standard Catalog, 65th edition on pages 269-348. The intent of the census is to lay the groundwork to establish and continue to update over time, three things;

Relative scarcity of a particular variety
Grade spread
Top 10 known by grade

What a wonderful, and extremely valuable, project!!! Accuracy counts, so make sure any submissions EXACTLY match what we all put into Charlton's 65th edition. Only 80 specific coins were included out of the hundreds (maybe thousands) of varieties to choose from.
