1884 Hub Doubled Obverse Die

Thanks to the advertisement on the front page of this site I decided to make the 110 mile trip to North Battleford and picked up this coin.

This is a nice example of an Obv.2/1a. You can see the characteristic Dot in E from the Obv.2 die, along with Obv.2 features at the base of the bust right next to the beads and at the front part of the crown, also right next to the beads. In addition, you can see the larger and rounded chin of an Obv.1a. But what is especially good in this example, is that you can see doubling in the bottom right side serif of the T of Victoria, but no such doubling on the left side, as the Obv.2 has a full serif and an Obv.1a only has a serif on the right side. This is confirmed again in the A of Victoria, as the Obv.2 has full serifs on the base of the A, but in the Obv.1a, the serifs at the bottom of the A are missing.

Sorry, for an 1884, it should be an Obv.2/1. A better image would help though.
