1962 cents

Post by rick.page » Sun Dec 09, 2018 3:32 pm

I just acquired 2 1962 pennies. One with 962 doubled and the other labeled "RE ENG". The 962 doubled is self explanatory but i have no idea what "RE ENG" means. Any help?

Hi

"RE ENG" = Abbreviation for Re-Engraving

Explanation: = The extra work on the design of the die for the improvement of the coin.
