Hopefully the I uploaded the images correctly. I found this coin roll hunting a little over a week ago. I was searching rolls of U.S. coins. The only reference I can find to the doubling on the reverse of my coin is right here on this website. Any info and advice is welcome. Also, any other opportunities for references where I can self educate is most welcome.

Thank you.

Bobby

It looks like machine/mechanical doubling (MD). There is one listed elsewhere on this site under the appropriate denomination and date. Once you click on the specific date, at the bottom of the page, you will find varieties & errors that have been submitted by members. Since the title of the error listed is the same as the title of your post, it may be the same coin and submission:

Thank you Bill. The coin I have is extremely similar to the variety listed on this sight. I was excited to find it. Hopefully it's one of the valuable MD coins. Either way this is for my collection for now. I've always had an interest in Canadian coins. This has sparked a bit of a flame for them. And the possible errors that come with.
