I can say yes to the 1896 the die crack on the obverse from the C in Canada through the bust and out the A is a marker.
I don't know about the obverse 5 cent coin

Although Trends still lists a "far 6", there really is no real definition or standard for a far 6. The last digit of the date was handpunched into each die so, with 2 million minted and, say, 50,000 stuck with each die, you could have 40 different placements for the 6. When we first discussed these on the old CCRS site, we all had an idea of what we were talking about. I helped a friend from Hamilton certify the first "far 6" officially listing it as a variety and the race was on. Since there were so many placements, you had very close, close, near and wide, far, very far and very very far 6's, amplified further by whether it was high low or slightly canted (rotated) CW or CCW. About 5 years ago, ICCS and CCCS stopped certifying far 6's, since the amount of gap was never dictated, and they did it at a request from a cadre of collectors. People (and dealers) will mark anything with just a little more 9/6 gap than that of the 8/9 and feel they they are correct, but they're not. I personally have 6 different far 6's, all different spacings and positioning. The first (and official) far 6 was very very wide, high and slight CW cant. I have asked Trends editor for 5 years to remove the designation, but dealer's like as many price hikes as possible.

Thanks again for the help. Any idea about the 1880-H five cent ? Or should I list it under Canada five cent?
