1952 George VI Cent with Orange SkinReverse

Post by pmcoins » Mon Aug 07, 2023 11:43 am

This is a 1952 George VI cent with pebbling on the reverse top part of the coin. I found a reference to this as a surface material such as grease or other liquid being on the die or the planchette. They referred to it as orange skin!
The coin is from an original roll and there were several in the roll.
I took pictures with natural light and with LED. The coin is 100% RED but is a little baggy on the Obverse side.
