The last 9 on this particular coin is much stronger than the 1st 9 which different than the image posted with SCC and can be seen in this edited photo. The top right hand side shows a bolder strike and honestly maybe that is all that this is.

Yes, we put 3 repunched 9's in the 2011 Charlton, but there were more that we didn't have enough more pages alloted us. There are differences in the length & strength of the underpunch below and right of the hook/tail and where it starts and ends. Also a difference on where the vertical start/end is left of the knob. It's nice when you find BOTH 9's repunched. I would guess that there at least 5 types of repunched 9's that you can see with the naked eye and nice offset. The mark between the knob and the upper loop is a die chip in the gap on a few of the strikes, but not common. Get the 65th Charlton and Rob Turner's book on die varieties not 58/59.
