I'm new to Canadian coin collecting and I like all the new varieties I get to look for, (I'm also bored with U.S. coins), I still haven't been able to find the difference between the pointed and round leaves variety of the 1910 5 cent silvers. Does anyone have a good way to tell the difference?

Thanks for the pics. It looks like the top left hand leaf is agood tell. I thought maybe my Rounded leaves version might have been just wear, but its obvious that the pointed ends persist even with age.

Here's the secret, but shh, don't tell anyone. One the left side, on the pointed variety, the point of the leaf curves down, on the round, well, there's no real point. On the right side, on the pointed variety, the leaf almost touches the denticles; on the round variety, there is about a 1/8 inch space between them.
