5 cents 2011 wear or plating problem?

Hi, do you think we're dealing with a wear problem here or could it be a plating problem. Thanks for your answers.
Looks to me like it could be a plating problem.
Not often that you see a coin so worn that the
nickel plating has worn off.
This is not an uncommon ocurrance with the
plating process.
