My question is, does anyone here have a far and near variety 1928 5c like me, I can’t seem to find any articles that show the different variety, 1929 does, but not 1928, I went to a coin show here in Paris Ontario today and had no luck there.

Looking at the coin sideways, they both look the same.
The only difference I can see is that one is a lighter strike
maybe giving the illusion of different spacing.
As far as I know, only the 1926 has the two varieties.
A fully dated matrix was used in 1928 so there should
be no difference between the two.
Can you rotate the photos properly and show what you
think points out to a near and far 8.
