A few years back I found a loonie that was mostly silver. How much would somthing like that be worth?

I don't think that it's silver but rather has had some type of chemical reaction taken place. There are any number of household and automotive cleaners/lubricants that change the surface colors of coins. It's worth a dollar.

I agree with Bill, this is not a silver loonie. The first silver piece was issued in 2004 and the only one with the yellow color is the 2012 War of 1812 premium proof set which was gold plated. At $125 , I doubt you would find it in pocket change in such a shape. :Rechercher: .
