This is a 1957 Canada silver Dollar pl67.
Is this a SWL variety or is this classified as 1 wl seeing that there is only 1 perfect water line touching the canoe.

It is not a SWL, you cannot have any line touching the canoe.
A one water line only shows one line, so it is just a regular dollar.

Holders aren’t always right. Bought a lot of coins graded by ICCS ,NGC and PCGS that weren’t properly identified. I found blunder I in several 1858 20 cents I found several double punch numbers and Swl and even an Arnprior.
There is someone on eBay that is selling a Swl 1957 that’s the same as mine. Iccs commented SWL. I never seen one. To my acknowledge if only one line is solid then it’s a 1 waterline. For it to be a regular full water lines. ALL the lines need to be touching
