1858 Cent Grade Help

Hi, I have this 1858 cent which has some unfortunate scratches. appreciate any help on where this coin would grade with this defect.

I would say VF20 Details.
With those scratches, I would say it's
only value would be as a hole filler.

VG10 or perhaps F12 with issues.

I agree with the VF-20 details. VF-20 as far as actual wear, but it is damaged, so you'd get a "details" or "damaged" because of the purposeful scratches/gouges.

Yes I agree VF20, however the damage could affect what you get for the coin should you try to sell it.
