1954 Canadian dollar Beattie-Rasminsky unknown prefix

Hi to all,
I have a Beattie-Rasminsky Canadian dollar from 1954, with FPN "88" and as described in the title with "JN" prefix and serial 1833335.
However, I cannot find this prefix JN anywhere in lists for this denomination.
Is there a reason why?
