heat and our polymer notes

Post by avatargrove » Mon Jul 31, 2023 4:51 pm

just new to this site
I have inherited quite a collection of Canadian coins as well as a stockpile from the RCM that my father had.
looking forward to some help in checking some of it out.
Have enjoyed looking at the site in past .
There is a lot of you with a ton of valuable knowledge on here.
Tried to load a picture of a $5.00 bill that I tested with some heat.
Cheers

Forgot to mention I put the bill in the oven at 200 degrees for a few minutes, it was a test, I was curious as to what happens to bills in a safe if you had a house fire
