1935 Bank of Commerce $20 Note Value?

Post by tma » Wed Sep 06, 2023 4:55 pm

Greetings,

I am a newby to the subject of currency collection. I have run across some old bills and I am wondering about the possible values. As shown this note looks pretty tattered which I presume devalues it but I wonder if it happens to be a rare find?

Many thanks in advance to those in this forum that have the time to give me a vague idea about the value of this note!

Best Regards,
tma

In that condition, it is probably worth $250-300.00.
It all depends on what someone is willing to pay.

Greetings,

Mr. CoinGuy I thank you once more for your support!

If in the future I were to become interested in selling old bills/notes I have no idea how I would properly go about listing them, etc. I wonder what the options might be for Canadian sellers? Does there happen to be a dedicated online auction site for Canadian currency collectors or are transactions typically done via a broad spectrum auction site like eBay or more simply just posted for sale on a forum?

Best Regards,
tma (on the learning curve)

There are no dedicated sites that I know of.
You don’t really say where you are from so I can only say that eBay would give you best exposure as it is worldwide.

Great looking note,
Just a heads up that any auction site or eBay will take there share of any profit you hope to gain.
But your probably aware of that.
