Does anyone know why the one bill has the colour of a twenty dollar bill on the front side and the colour of a five dollar bill on the scene side? The bill in question is well worn, has not been in circulation since the late 1960's and appears to be authentic.
Thanks for help if you know something about this.

I would agree with Bill, In the pocket of denim Blue Jeans is my guess. Shame as it is a Devils face note as well

It looks more like it was intentionally printed that way rather than simple colour transfer. Green and blue would come out cyan, no?

I'm inclined to believe some kind of fading, even though it doesn't appear the serial numbers have faded. There are many anomalies with the 1954 series but I don't believe the use of a different colour ink is one of them.
