M. Foley - Drink - Gatineau - 25 cents
Description
Michael Foley had a hotel in 1885. The balance of these tokens were purchased by Mr. P.N. Breton. This token is probably one of a group of tokens that were struck for the numismatic trade according to R. W. McLachlan (Canadian Coins and Medals Issued in 1892, The Canadian Antiquarian and Numismatic Journal, Vol. 3 No. 2 (April 1892), 65).
