This 1911 1-cent is also called the Godless coin because the words Dei Gratia (By the Grace of God or Thank God) weren't engraved on the dies used to strike this coin.
Following the death of Edward VII, the obverse was changed for the new monarch and the word Canada was added to the reverse.
