1 cent 1920
Because the increasing price of copper, the Mint decided in 1920 to make smaller 1 cent coins, similar to the United States ones. Until the 1930s, the large ones were still circulating. The reverse changed from the serpentine motif of 16 maple leaves with beaded circle to 2 maple leaves, no rim denticles or beads.
