The date on the image can be different from the year selected.
On some 1947 5-cent coins, a maple leaf is visible after the date. Coins struck with that symbol because the new obverse, needed after the independence of India, arrived late. ET IND : IMP : (which stands for Indiae Imperator) was only removed in 1948.
