Well, it looks like there is a dot after Newfoundland, but it's very faint. The Obv 1's had dots before and after, and the Obv 2 had none. Look at the coin in hand to see if there's a dot. It's a small W and I'll say a VG-10

In the 65th Charlton, we had that coin on p.335 and it's harder to find than the other Obv 2. We priced that variety at about 3X the price of the normal '92. I think that it's VF-30 for wear but the dark areas look like environmental damage.

An 1882 Obv 2 is one of the most common of all the Vicky cents and, even without the hole, the wear on the coin puts it into the AG-3 range. Unfortunately, the coin is essentially worthless. Yes, it is neither a variety or an error ... die deterioration as stated above and just using worn dies & no extra value.
