2005 P 1945-2005 Victory

Bought a part of an original roll and noted that there is a chip on the inside of the P causing the "P" to have a wider upper stroke. Please see attached photos.

Listed in Charest, not in Trends, Charlton or here. Had it slabbed by CCCS and is coming to auction soon. I am assuming there are more out there. Any thoughts?????

Re: Possibly liquidating 45+ years of stock from store.

How is the liquidation coming? I am a dealer so I could be interested in what is left. Saw no reason to get run over in the stampede in Nov.

Re: 1991 roll

Keith The great thing with the shrink wrap tubes is you can gently remover the coins without damaging the tube. So I would take the 40 coins out, see if you have anything special and then re-package and sell as a roll. Of course you are going to do better if you sell one by one. With this virus goin...

2005 P Caribou Offset 25 cents

Has anyone come across this error? I was told that the ones I have came from an original roll. Coins are all BU and the offset is consistent.

Re: 1912 to 1914 Canadian gold coins sold by the mint.

Of all the coins that I have handled from that hoard, all are baggy and at the best MS-63 Canadian Grading. PCGS gave lots a MS-64 but they don't pass the test Your best situation is go for a MS-65 in an old ICCS holder, these are few and far between but are the best bet.

Re: Estate collection/accumulation- seeking advice

Sounds like a big grouping of Mint product. It is hit and miss, a lot of it at bullion or close to it. In lieu that, as it is an estate, would recommend the auction route. Let the auctioneers make a few dollars as it is a lot of work for them and merely cataloguing and delivery on yours. You will ge...

Unlisted 1730 30 sols CARD MONEY

This unlisted 30 sols showed up in a 5 Card lot found in Trois Rivieres. The notes had been mounted by thread on a silk backing and framed sometime in the 1820's. Since then they hung on the wall, till last week when the owner decided to see if they had any value. All that was told was that his gran...
