All general circulation quarters might be the same size but the Canadian Mint has issued larger 25 Cent denomination coins. Maybe quarter is the wrong term, but they are 25 Cents and are approximately 35mm in diameter, which is much larger than the standard quarter.

Thank you for the quick reply. I gather from this that there is nothing specific between coin types other than the use of a different die than normal for one side. Hence a mule for one type of coin like the 99 Sep and Nov quarter examples that both lack the demoination could be something totally dif...
