So Bill, can you tell us (that don't have a clue what year or value) what this series is and why there would be many fakes?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Hello and a question
Hi It would possibly help to get some feed back if you included a picture of the coin. I am not an expert but I don't think an bit of extra ink would increase the value as an error coin. This should make us wonder though what would someone consider collectable as a painted coin error. If some coins ...

Hi
No I hadn't opened the rolls. But, I did take a toothpick and remove the blue stain.
Saw your other post with the dots and checked the coins on the ends of the rolls, 2 obverse on 1 roll and 2 reverse on the 2nd roll. No dots on those 4 coins. By the way, nice find.

Hi
Just wanted to comment that I had a stain on one coin at the end out of 2 rolls as well. Not as bad as yours, one spot on the coin about a 1/4" round. Looks like blue dye from the wrapper perhaps.

Collectable or damage?
I just received a 2016 25 cent gold coin with rim damage. The coin is in a capsule so it is hard to photograph, but am wondering if this is die damage or other. I am thinking of returning it to the mint for replacement. http://www.coinsandcanada.com/forum/class/test/S20160309_0002.jpeg Sorry for the...
