Could you take a photo of the edge of that spot.
May be just a hit moving the metal but hard to tell.

It may be a slight Struck Through Grease but is so badly damaged that there is no extra value.
Spend it if you can.

You might never know exactly what happened to cause this but the fact that it could not
have happened during the striking of the coin defaults it to damage. Value 10 cents

As far as your nickel goes, if you want to post a clear picture of both sides,
there should be someone on this site that can verify and grade it for you.
If you want it professionally graded, you would have to send it to either
ICCS in Toronto or CCCS in Quebec.

Looks like someone has tried to create an error coin.
Not Double Struck but intentional damage.

Just a marketing ploy. Have seen this before. Note how it says best offer, if you made
a fair offer, chances he would take it.
The idea is to attract you to his sight with the hope that you will look at his other listings.

Just looks like Wheatie that has lots of wear.

Suggest removing it from the 2 x 2 and reshooting the photos to eliminate glare.
Right now it just looks like one of the over 1.8 million 1930 dimes produced.
Still not sure exactly what makes this dime any different.
