Are you 100 percent sure that it did not come from the mint like that. I am not so sure.

I had previously ruled out the dryer coin. If you look closely at the rim you will see that it is uniform all the way around and that the coin is not perfectly round. If it was a dryer coin then the rim would not have been uniform all the way around. Thank you for your input.

my weight was wrong, it is 1.88 grams.

2.65 grams is the weight. It has a smaller in diameter than a normal dime and it looks like it is not perfectly round like a normal dime.

Thank you for the information, The distance difference is between the 1 and the 0, but since the last digit is hand punched then there will be many variations.

1901 Quarter variant
I have two 1901 quarters and it seams that the 1 on one quarter is closer to the zero than the 1 on the other quarter. Is this common or is this something new.

Has anyone know of a 1910 Canada 5 Cent round leaves cross over bow tie? I sent a 1910 5 cent to get graded and it comes back as round leaves cross over bow tie. I have done extensive web searches and still have not found another, Let me know if anyone else has heard of one.
