Re: Package Error - Charles III First Strike Uncirculated Set
Is it possible that the dime was placed in the system by some one at the mint before packaging, could make for a good marketing strategy. I’m just a old guy running scenario through my head.

Re: I think i might have found a gold mine
If you get the coins you want at a price you’re happy with then who can say it’s wrong. If you expect to make money at coin collecting then you might not be doing it correctly. Far be it from me to say how to go about it , I see something I like and if I can afford it I buy it knowing full well I pr...

IMO it all depends on what you expect out of your collection in the end. Buy what you can afford and like. That way you can’t go wrong.

Re: $2 Devil Face Notes
I hope you hear from more than just me on this but IMO it’s just a matter of supply and demand. There are a great number of $20 on the market but the $2 was not as common a note in circulation therefore not as meany found there way into collector hands. I don’t know but also expect that not nearly a...

2002 $2 dot in H ?
I’m just wondering , was the dot in the H a design of the mint or was it just a die chip?
If it was the intent of the mint, what was the purpose and the story behind it.

Re: $20’s found
Hope you get more input than me but I don’t see anything that would make these notes worth of certifying .
Possibly if they had been 510 starting serial number but not 500.
Remember that when looking up values on eBay to look at sold values not what people are asking .

Re: Database & Rarity Question
One thing you have to keep in mind CarnieG is that if you turn in a coin that is to be remelted you will only get face value for the coin. Most silver coins that are sold among Dealers and collectors their value is based on the price of silver but it is illegal for anyone other then the Mint to melt...

Re: 1970 struck through wire!
I’ll be the first to tell you , in order for anyone to offer a grade on a coin you will have to have a full picture of both sides of the coin( obverse and reverse). No one and give you a grade on the pictures you have posted
