You will have some enjoyable reading ahead of you Bill, with lots of key makers to watch for mentioned in the books of said years with excellent pictures for your reference of those coins. You will have a bit of an edge on others when looking for varieties with gained knowledge from books.

Re: Grading Cameo-Heavy Cameo-Ultra Heavy Cameo coins

Yes I have seen a few web-sites and coin books that show prices for PL + SP coins but nothing for business strike coins I like others have a soft spot for such coins especially in the high grades. It just seems odd that there is no price guide for these coins as for eye appeal they have it 10 folds ...

Re: 1899 9/9 dime A.U.

I'm not real good at these years for grades but I think it might make VF-30-EF-40 for condition with DP large 9.

Radius88, this die pair I believe to be RD4 - 0H1 by the picture provided and if it is this pair RD4 reverse was used on 24% of over-dated cents, the 0H1 Obverse was used on 22% of over-dated cents making it the second most common die marriage used to mint the 1859 over-dated cents. I know Rob Turne...
