Re: 1903 Canada 5 cents Double large H?

I think your correct in saying its a doubled H, it looks like its doubled to me also, there is a picture of one in the Charlton Catalogue for Canadian Coins. Small H over Small (SH/H). The die cracks are useful for Die Trackers tracking the different stages the coin die goes through as to when the d...

Re: 1859 doubled/repunched

That helps SurlyLung, the die crack you showed is actually leaf 11 but that's all good as I think it is a Haxby PC59-33- 17 + E19. If you are not familiar with the Haxby site go to (Haxby Catalogue of the Canadian 1859 Large Cent) when there push on Haxby numbers and find PC59-33, 17 + E19 it will h...

Re: 1859 doubled/repunched

Your picture's of the Reverse and Obverse are a little blurry is that a die crack at the bottom of leaf 9?

If there are any die cracks on the Obverse or Reverse maybe you could make mention of it as they are hard to see if any on your pictures that is a good clue to seeing what you might have.

Re: Denticles

A denticle is a raised toothlike feature around the rim of a coin some are round some are sq. older coins they were attached to the rim newer coins have dots as denticles some attached to the rim and others have space from the rim to denticle. I'm not sure what kind of answer you are looking for but...

Re: 1908 Mint Set

If its a true specimen set they trend at $5,500.00 Canadian in the 2019 Charlton Catalogue with large or small 8 on the 5 cent piece. A treasure to own.
EDIT: You might want to also look at the Cent and look for DDO

Re: Need help grading 1936 silver dollar

It looks to be EF-AU. We need pictures of both sides of the coin are required for grading and better close ups would also help with decisions.
