Correction.. I just found out that this nickel is the victim of something called (Zink Rot) not a mint Error .

No it looks like it literally melted the metal on the inside melted away leaving a outer layer very thin like tin foil

Oh wow .. really . You have me thinkn now .. well after looking at it closer ? I'm stumped now .. it kinda looks like it has a rusted layer and did you want me to take more pictures of it so you can see ? Cause now I only have more questions lol hmm

Yeah I actually found this on the sidewalk coming home one day i was just going to give it away then luckily I noticed it was a star note . Can you please let me know if maybe I should have given it away or was this a lucky find ? Thanks again much appreciated

I came across this 1999 nickel that strangely looks alot like it's a silver 1999 nickel?? Can you guys tell me what this is ? I can't find anything about it online? The 1999 usually weighs 4.6g but this one comes in at 5.3g and is frosted and very crisp and clean and had a ping sound when dropped so...
